Three Monroe County businesses have been cited by the state police Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board for liquor code violations.
Beer Nuts, Brodheadsville, was cited for during the period of Aug. 4 to 7 failed to comply with the order of the administrative law judge mandating responsible alcohol management certification.
Happy Hour Bar & Grill, Stroudsburg, during the period July 20 through Oct. 3, failed to have their board-approved manager complete RAMP owner/manager training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment.
Main Street Stop & Go, Stroudsburg, on Sept. 6, 13 and Oct. 11, their licensed premises was not a bona fide restaurant in that they maintained insufficient seating.
These charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose fines of $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for more severe offenses. In addition, the judge can impose a license suspension or revocation based on the severity of the charge brought.
