The Carbon Career & Technical Institute community has banded together to come to the aid of student at their school. The family of Xavier Boston experienced a devastating fire at their home in Jim Thorpe on Dec.1.
The faculty, staff and students will be sponsoring a spaghetti dinner fundraiser on Wednesday, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Dinners will be all take-out and can be purchased for $10 by calling CCTI at 570-325-3682 today. The meal will include spaghetti, salad, roll and dessert and pick-up will be in the cafeteria. All proceeds will be given to the family.
“Our staff and students are amazing to see how everyone is working together to make to make this fundraiser successful for the family,” said Michelle Allen, principal.
