William White of Lehighton was elected president of the Carbon County Fire Police Association at a recent meeting held in the Kidder Township Volunteer Fire Company headquarters.

Other officers elected for 1962 are Kenneth Ocker, Jim Thorpe, vice president; Walter Kacicek, Palmerton, treasurer; F.C. Smith, Jim Thorpe, secretary; Harry Wert, Lehighton, financial secretary; Sherwood Nothstein, Mahoning Valley, sergeant-at-arms; and James Wagner, Lehighton, chaplain.

Dr. Marvin Snyder and Attorney William Bayer, both of Lehighton, will serve the association in the capacities of association physician and legal counsel, respectively.
