The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, District Office No. 9, has released a statistical report of enforcement activity for the month of November.
The district includes the counties of Berks, Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton and Schuylkill, which cover 3,489 establishments that are licensed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Officers assigned to the district office performed the following activities in November:
Complaints received, 78; licensed establishments where age compliance checks were conducted, 28; number of establishments that sold alcohol to an underage buyer, 10; number of violation letters issued for violations of liquor laws, 31; warning letters issued for violations of liquor laws, 27; citations issued for underage consumption and/or possession of alcohol, 2; and criminal arrests, 6.
