November 19, 1999 - Brad Walters and Steve Hluschak both rush for 100 yards to help lead Northern Lehigh to a 25-14 victory over Catasauqua in the District 11 Class 2A championship game. Walters carries 28 times for 129 yards and two touchdowns, while Hluschak adds 112 yards and a score on 13 attempts. Hluschak also intercepts a pass on defense to set up another tally. The Bulldogs, coached by Jim Tkach, fall behind early but receive TD runs of three and two yards from Walters, and 20 yards from Hluschak. Bo Tkach’s 3-yard TD run in the fourth quarter seals the win and Nolehi’s first-ever district football title.
