November 12, 1979 - Jim Hauser and Eric Stryker both score two touchdowns to lead Lehighton to a 27-14 Centennial League victory over East Stroudsburg. Stryker, who finishes the contest with 73 rushing yards on 17 carries, reaches the end zone twice in the first half on a pair of 5-yard runs to give the Indians a 13-7 halftime lead. Hauser, who collects 117 yards on 27 attempts, tallies twice in the fourth quarter to turn a 14-13 deficit into a 27-14 win. Lehighton, coached by Jim Wentz, also receives two interceptions on defense from Brian Bollinger.
