With all precincts reporting, Carbon County favored Douglas Mastriano in the race for governor with 13,772 votes. Democrat Josh Shapiro’s 7,200 votes. Mastriano has an early lead in Monroe and Schuylkill counties. Statewide, Shapiro is leading.

Mehmet Oz is leading John Fetterman in the race for U.S. Senator, with 14,356 votes to Fetterman’s 6,335. Oz also has an early lead in Schuylkill and Monroe counties. Statewide, Fetterman is leading.

In the race for Congress, Republican Lisa Scheller garnered 15,377 votes (72%) to 5,826 for Susan Wild. Wild is leading right now in Lehigh and Northampton counties.

Incumbent Doyle Heffley has the lead with 16,508 votes. Democratic Challenger Richard Kost had 4,585 votes.

The land preservation referendum passed, with 16,899 votes in favor (81.35%)

and 3,874 (18.65%) against it.
