Pleasant Valley Personnel

The Pleasant Valley School Board approved the following changes in personnel during its meeting on Thursday.

The staff involved with the Learning Recovery Opportunity are not new hires. They are current staff members that offered their time to do the program with students, Superintendent James Konrad said.

The people involved in LRO are:

• Building change of teachers for Learning Recovery Opportunity - Jodi Kresge, from PVES to PVIS; Catherine Britton, from PVIS to PVES; and Kathleen Gray, from PVHS to PVIS.

• Hiring of nurse for LRO - Rachel Borger, PVHS, $58 per hour.

• Hiring of substitute nurse for LRO - Glenda Martini, PVHS, $58.

• Hiring of teachers for LRO - Lisa Kandl, PVHS, $58 per hour.

Other personnel changes include:

• Addition to current assignment - India Johnson, substitute paraprofessional associate.

• Building volunteers - Cinthia Burger, Penny Burns-Carns, Lauren Ero, Kathleen Stephens, Kelly Nothstein, Alison Perini and Jill Pio.

• Hiring of professional staff - Janis Gaglione, family consumer science teacher, PVMS, $46,867. She replaces Ashley Thompson, who had a change in assignment.

• Hiring of professional staff substitutes - Jennifer Elston, Rebekah Larregui and Mikaela Miller.

• Hiring of support staff - Nannette Gower, custodian, PVES.

• Intramural advisers - Toni Bush, Girls Lacrosse and Iron Core, PVMS and PVHS; and Steve Caffrey and Drew Dymond, advisers, softball, PVHS, all $1,240 stipend.

• Resignations - Elizabeth Kozero, food service employee, PVES, and Jessica Maksoud, substitute teacher.

• Retirement - Shirley Hood, secretary, PVES, effective Dec. 14.

• Professional staff building transfers - Annalisa Bon Lore, from PVMS to PVHS. • Supplemental contracts: athletic non-coaching - Jonathan Lopez, Tracy Pio and Jim Shoopack, all sports, winter event manager.
