Woman sentenced on drug, false ID charges

An Easton woman was sentenced on drug and false identification charges while nine defendants appeared on driving under the influence charges in Carbon County court recently. All the defendants previously entered guilty pleas to the charges.

Judge Steven R. Serfass imposed sentences on the following:

Sarah Jane Reppert, 31, an inmate in the Northampton County prison on pending criminal charges, was sentenced to time-served (24 days) to one year in jail on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed on probation for a year on a charge of false identification to law enforcement, running consecutive to the drug count. She was also ordered to get a drug and alcohol evaluation, zero tolerance imposed on drug or alcohol use, supply a DNA sample and render a total of 100 hours of community service.

She was arrested on the drug charge on Jan. 13, 2020, by state police at Lehighton and on the false ID count on Nov. 5, 2019, by Weissport police. Reppert had entered the county’s drug treatment court program but was terminated from it for failure to follow all the conditions of the program.
