Many people in our community depend on programs like Social Security and Medicare. You might not know this, but the GOP in Congress has been trying to cut these programs. This is very irresponsible, and I know that most people in our communities would disagree with this kind of proposal.

To protect our Social Security and Medicare, we should elect candidates who will defend them. Congresswoman Susan Wild, who is on our ballots, has a very strong record on this matter. She has made sure the SSA has enough resources to serve us. She has stood up against attempts to slash them. And, I saw on Facebook that Susan Wild earned the “Social Security Champion” award for her work.

You don’t have to agree with a political candidate on every single issue to vote for them. I certainly don’t agree with all the candidates I support on everything. But Social Security and Medicare are very important programs. Congresswoman Wild will keep working to defend them. Vote for Susan Wild to protect your Social Security and Medicare.
