Saints Peter and Paul Church, 260 N 3rd St, Lehighton, announces the following schedule:

Masses

• The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at Saints Peter and Paul Parish by Father Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr., on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m.

• Daily masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 8 a.m. We welcome you, or welcome you back, to worship the Lord at our parish.

• The Eucharist is exposed for personal prayer every Wednesday from noon to 9 p.m. We are particularly in need of adorers between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

• The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and 45 minutes before Masses on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. On the last weekend of the month, Father also hears Confessions immediately after Masses on those days.

Clothing

Our parish Saint Vincent de Paul Society hosts “Vincent’s Closet” by appointment in our former convent building on 242 N. 3rd Street. The society offers clothing and toiletries for those in need, and seeks donations of the same. Call the rectory for more information.

Counseling

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown is accepting appointments and walk-ins at the parish convent building every Thursday from 9 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services include: individual, marriage, and family counseling; pregnancy and parenting support (counseling, material assistance such as diapers, wipes, baby items); and supportive services (case management, material assistance, emergency rental assistance, referrals). Remembrance

On Nov. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon, is a Morning of Remembrance for the Faithful Departed, those from our parish and families who have died, especially since last November. Morning Prayer at 9 a.m. in church, followed in the parish hall by a light breakfast and a talk by Father Kevin P. McCabe, a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. All are welcome.

Teaching

On Thursday evenings until Nov. 17, we are hosting a video and discussion series called “What We Believe,” which presents core Catholic teachings.

Fundraisers

• Now through Nov. 28, order a quart of Italian wedding soup, stuffed pepper soup, or chicken pot pie soup, $8 each. Pick up during the Christmas Festival. Come to the Rectory Monday through Friday mornings, leave a voicemail, or complete a form to drop in the collection basket with cash or check. Preorders preferable.

• Now through Monday, Nov. 21, order a 22-inch Christmas wreath made by Schroeder Family Farms, $28 each for a Fraser Fir wreath with red berries, pine cones, and a red bow. Pick up wreaths during our Christmas Festival. Preorders preferable.

• The Christmas Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 3 and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 4. The weekend includes a basket auction, homemade food, and bake sale.
