State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating the theft of a delivered package.

Police said they were called to a residence along Chicola Lake South Trail, Ross Township, at 5:27 p.m. Oct. 12.

Police said the resident said she believed a package from the United Parcel Service was delivered to the wrong address across the street from her home and that the neighbors at that address would not return the package.
