State police at the Hazleton barracks are investigating the theft of a trailer and contents in Lehigh Township in rural Weatherly.

Police said a 40-year-old woman from Weatherly reported the theft occurred between midnight Sept. 27 and 1:45 p.m. Sept. 29 along North Lehigh Gorge Drive.

Police said the 1999 white J & L’s Cargo Express trailer was taken and items inside it are valued at $450, including various clothing, motorcycle parts and tools.
