A female motorist escaped injury Sunday afternoon when involved in a crash in Rush Township. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. as she was traveling north on Route 309 about a mile south of the Ginthers intersection. The Hometown Fire Company responded with their fire police maintaining traffic control at the scene shutting down the right lane. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident. COPYRIGHT
