Befesa donates $5K to Palmerton Community Festival

The Palmerton Community Festival received an extra jolt of support from a Palmerton business.

That’s after Befesa, a zinc reclaiming company, presented festival organizers with a $5,000 donation Tuesday afternoon in the borough park.

Susie Arner said that Befesa is the festival’s newest Community Team partner.

“We are so thankful for their support that allows us to continue providing the fine quality event which draws thousands to Palmerton’s beautiful borough park,” Arner said. “Their donation will assist us in our entertainment budget, allowing us to provide top quality entertainers folks might otherwise not see in our community.”

Arner said the festival is extremely appreciative of Befesa for its generous donation.

“The festival and all the participants who are working hard are very grateful for this support so they, the participants, can raise funds for their worthy causes,” she said.

This year’s festival runs Sept. 9-11 in the borough park.
