Within minutes of the start of last night’s Weissport council workshop, council seated a new member and reorganized.
Camille Lore was unanimously chosen to fill the seat vacated last month by the resignation of council President Dennis Moser. The latter resigned during a heated argument over raising the salary of the police chief and allocating more hours to his contract.
After Lore was sworn in by Mayor Sherry Nikisher, the council unanimously named Tim Rehrig to be the new president. He previously served as vice president.
