Together with Veterans NEPA has several upcoming events for Carbon County area veterans.

• The next Vietnam veteran Coffee and Camaraderie event will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. on Sept. 8 at the Nesquehoning Hose Company No. 1, 953 E. Catawissa St., Nesquehoning.

There are no strings attached, just veterans, coffee and conversation.

RSVPs are requested by no later than Sept. 6 by calling the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office at 570-325-3986 or emailing cleclair@carboncounty.net.

• The next Veteran Community Quarterly Reachout will take place from 9-11 a.m. on Oct. 25 at the Lehighton American Legion, Post 314, 314 Veterans Ave., Lehighton.

The event will include breakfast and the launch of a specialized veterans #Reachout training geared at community leaders, first responders, health care and nonprofit professionals.

The event is free and open to all but registration is required.

Call the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office at the aforementioned number to register.

• A Veterans Day Dinner is scheduled for all veterans at Penn’s Peak on Nov. 10.

The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. and is open to all veterans plus one guest.

Seating is limited so RSVPs are required by calling the Carbon County Veterans Affairs office.
