In an early battle of Colonial League powers, Palmerton came away with a 413-418 win over Moravian Academy.

The Bombers’ Tyler Hager and the Lions’ Evan Eichenlaub battled for medalist honors, with Eichenlaub (three-under-par 68) edging Hager (two-under-par 69) by a single stroke.

Connor Reinhard (80), Nate Steinmetz (84) and Jared Reinhard (88) all shot in the 80s to help Palmerton secure the victory and improve to 2-0.

Moravian Academy slipped to 1-1.
