The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has scheduled an additional whitewater dam release based on current water storage levels.

A dam release of 650 cubic feet per second will take place Sept. 3. In addition, a newly scheduled fisheries enhancement release of 100-300 cubic feet per second will take place July 30-Aug. 5.

The releases are part of the dam’s recreation plan, which states that additional recreation releases will take place if there is enough water storage in the reservoir.

All recreational releases are subject to change based on the potential need for flood control.
