Rosie’s Tavern & Grill, 22 Coal St., Middleport, was cited by the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Allentown, for violating state liquor laws.

In five different instances, agents or employees permitted smoking and/or smoked in the premises.

They happened on Feb. 27, March 5 and April 16, 2022, and Dec. 29 and 31, 2021.

The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who will impose the penalties against the licensee.
