Tara Zrinski, Democratic candidate for the 14th senatorial district in Pennsylvania, conceded the race this week to Nicholas P. Miller.

The newly drawn 14th district includes Walnutport and Lehigh Township.

Zrinksi posted, “Today our case was settled and in doing so, I have formally conceded the race to my opponent. I wish him the best and hope that he will experience another victory in November.”

The announcement followed the settlement of a federal lawsuit filed by voters in the contest.

Miller will face Republican Dean N. Browning in November.
