State police at Lehighton are investigating illegal use of a license plate.

A 39-year-old Kunkletown man reported to police at 1:36 p.m. May 13 that he sold his vehicle but forgot to remove the Pennsylvania-issued license plate on it.

Police said someone was using the plate on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
