The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at SS. Peter and Paul Parish by Father Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr., on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m.
Daily Masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. We welcome you, or welcome you back, to worship the Lord at our parish.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and 45 minutes before Masses on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown is accepting appointments and walk-ins at the parish convent building every Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Services include: individual, marriage, and family counseling; pregnancy and parenting support (counseling, material assistance such as diapers, wipes, baby items); and supportive services (case management, material assistance, emergency rental assistance, referrals). The parish St. Vincent de Paul Society hosts “Vincent’s Closet” every third Sunday of the month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in our former convent building on 242 N. Third St. The society offers clothing and toiletries for those in need.
The second annual “Backyard Bash” Block Party will take place July 22 and July 23 from 5 to 10 p.m. with homemade American and ethnic food, live entertainment and games for adults and children, bingo, cake walks, various raffles and giveaways. The Justin Skyler Orchestra will play on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., and the Villagers Polka Band will play on Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m.
On June 19 immediately after the 10 a.m. Mass, a Eucharistic procession in honor of the day’s liturgical observance, Corpus Christi (The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ).
