Northern Valley shut out Allentown in legion baseball action Thursday.

Nicholas Scott had two hits and knocked in three runs to help power Northern Valley to an 11-0 Lehigh Valley Legion victory over Allentown.

The winners scored five runs in the bottom of the first, and tacked on six more in the fourth.

Zach Russo collected two hits, knocked in two and also scored twice for the winners, who improved to 2-0. Sam Mauro also added a pair of hits and two RBIs, while Andrew Diehl finished with two hits and two runs.

Zach Chamberlain gained the pitching win, allowing just one hit in four scoreless innings. He walked three and struck out four.
