Six vacancies on the Schuylkill County Drug and Alcohol Executive Board were filled by the Schuylkill County Commissioners during their weekly meeting held on Wednesday.

Named to the board were Maureen Dee, Linda Surovcik, Dr. Cyril J. Forster and Robert Peyakovich, all of Pottsville; Peter J. Swoboda, Frackville; and Carol Imschweiler, Pine Grove.

Joel Essington, Tamaqua, was also appointed to the Communication Center Advisory Committee. He will represent the Ambulance Association of Schuylkill County.
