The Tamaqua Spirit of Christmas Committee is planning a Christmas in July Santa Parade at 11 a.m. July 23.

The committee is looking for individuals and groups to participate in the parade.

Staging will begin at 10 a.m. by the Kistler Transportation Building on East Broad Street. The parade route will follow East Broad Street to Depot Square Park and then turn left onto South Railroad Street.

Participants will disband in the area of St. Luke’s on South Railroad Street.

Children’s activities will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on the lot between Tink’s Antiques and the Tamaqua Public Library.

Food trucks offering a variety of different items will be throughout the borough.

Registration forms for the parade are available at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center and on the Spirit of Christmas Facebook page.
