Two Tamaqua residents have pleaded guilty to drug charges in Schuylkill County.
Alyssa A. Bensinger, 33, of Tamaqua, was charged by Frackville state trooper Peter K. Conforti with three counts of possession of a controlled substance; possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 19, 2021.
She pleaded guilty to a count of possession of a controlled substance, and Senior Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin sentenced her to pay court costs and fees; undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation; and to spend two to 23 months in jail.
The jail sentence is to be served at the same time as one in Carbon County.
Jake A. Love, 27, of Tamaqua, was charged by Frackville State trooper Peter K. Conforti with possession of a controlled substance on July 13, 2021.
He pleaded guilty, and Dolbin sentenced him to pay court costs and fees; undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation; and to spend 12 months on probation.
