A routine traffic stop during an aggressive driving detail on Route 903 led Jim Thorpe police to a large drug discovery last month.
Police stopped Jennifer Roxanne Coleman, 43, of 15 N. Shore Drive, Albrightsville, for several traffic violations just after noon on April 23.According to Sgt. Michelangelo Bokeko, Coleman had 15 prepackaged bags of suspected crack cocaine, 10 bags of suspected heroin and several items of drug paraphernalia.Police also seized over $11,710 in cash from Coleman's purse. She was arrested and consented to a blood test.Charges against her include two felony counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia, two misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and several traffic violations.Coleman, who was out on bail for other drug charges, was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Edward Lewis, who modified her bail to $75,000, 10 percent.She was transported to Carbon County Correctional Facility and released later that evening after posting bail.
