Summit Hill Council President James Crampsie announced last night the borough is pursuing purchase of the St. Joseph’s School building located next to the borough hall on Ludlow Street.

Crampsie said the purchase is likely to be made possible through a $20,000 commitment made to the town by Daniel and Ralph Cipko, Lansford natives and local philanthropists. The borough is also seeking financial assistance from the Summit Hill Community Improvement Organization, he said.
