A 52-year-old Westbury, New York, trucker was killed in a crash early Saturday morning in Kidder Township.
State police at Fern Ridge said the incident happened at 2:41 a.m. at mile marker 277.8 on Interstate 80.
The man, identified as David Reeves, was driving of a 2019 International Harvester was traveling eastbound when he missed a slight curve in the road and continued straight, according to police. He struck a guide rail in a 1 o’clock position, rebounded off to the left side and hit multiple trees head-on.
Carbon County Coroner Bob Miller said an autopsy was being performed Monday morning.
