State police at the Bethlehem barracks gave details on recent thefts:
• Police are investigating the theft of a woman’s purse from a vehicle.
A 61-year-old Schnecksville woman told police someone smashed a window on her 2013 Subaru Forester as it was parked along Coffeetown Road in North Whitehall Township and took her purse.
• Two catalytic converters, both valued at $1,000, were reported stolen between March 26-28 at a site along Robin Road in Hanover Township.
JBC Trucking, Hazle Township, said the converters were stolen off a 2019 Isuzu.
• Police were called at 6:31 p.m. March 15 to investigate a theft along Mohawk Drive in North Whitehall Township.
A 35-year-old man from Schnecksville, told police a black man stole a package off the front steps of his home, and fled the scene traveling south on Route 309 in a green Honda minivan.
• Police are investigating the theft of a 2001 Nissan reported missing at 10:48 a.m. March 15 from a location along Oriole Road in Heidelberg Township.
The owner is a 22-year-old man from New Tripoli.
