Richard E. Hudson was named president and chief executive officer of the Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, by the hospital’s board of directors,

John E. Esrang, chairman, said Hudson “is a progressive, people-oriented individual who believes in taking an active role in community affairs.”

Hudson comes to Lehighton from his position as executive vice president of St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware, and previously held administrative positions at hospitals in South Carolina and West Virginia.
