Property owned by the Slatington Borough Water Authority at 3055 Welshtown Road, Washington Township, was damaged in a criminal mischief incident that is being investigated by state police at the Bethlehem barracks.

Police said the incident happened between noon and 1:30 p.m. March 29 when someone cut wires and tampered with the control panel at Reservoir No. 4.

The estimated damages to the communications cable is $600.
