Walker Township Supervisors held an abbreviated meeting on Thursday due to only one of the three supervisors attending the meeting. Two of the three are required to have a quorum.

Craig Wagner attended the meeting. Kent Heisler and Matthew Koch were unable to attend in person. Because of the need to pass the road bid contracts, Wagner brought Heisler on via phone to meet the quorum requirement.

The 2022 road project will be a joint venture with West Penn Township. With Walker voting to approve the contract, it now moves to West Penn Township to pass it. Then the contract goes out to bid. Walker Supervisors plan to open the bids at the May 5 meeting.

The base bid roads are parts of Mountain Road, Kettle Road, Swamp Road, and Reynolds Road. The alternate bid would include four different sections of Shady Lane and River Road.
