At least one person was injured Monday evening in a crash along Route 309 in Rush Township.
The crash occurred at 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Ben Titus Road and involved a sport utility vehicle and a tri-axle dump truck.
After impact, the north bound tri-axle slid across all four lanes of the roadway, sliding across a lawn, coming to rest against a home.
One person in the SUV was injured and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital Trauma Center in Hazleton.
Hometown Fire Company Fire Police maintained traffic control at the scene. Rush Township Police are investigating the incident.
