The Delaware and Lehigh Canal National Heritage Corridor Commission will receive $325,000 in grants under the Pennsylvania Parks program, state Rep. Keith McCall announced.

McCall is a strong proponent of the improvement and rehabilitation projects in the corridor and supported this as well as previous applications for state funds to improve the trail.

The new money will be used to install directional signs along the trail, to prepare brochures to promote it and to create a strategy to integrate visitor services for the Lehigh Gorge State Park with the White Haven business district.
