Tamaqua police have cited a Hazle Township man after a criminal mischief incident in the borough on March 12.

Wayne Bachert was observed vandalizing two vehicles owned by Ryan Oldt, of 231 Market St., at 8:58 p.m. that day. The vehicles were parked near Oldt's home.The victim caught Bachert in the act and a confrontation took place. Both parties were wrestling on the ground when officers arrived.Bachert has been charged with criminal mischief and assault.
