State police at Lehighton are investigating a crash along Route 248.

The crash occurred as a driver was driving east bound lanes at the Palmerton exit.

The driver may have been driving erratically before striking swerving to the right striking the guard rails then crossing the two eastbound lanes, colliding with the center Jersey divider.

The driver reportedly also struck several cars in the incident.
