State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers.
• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 5:44 p.m. on March 13 along East Old Stage Road in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Stacie D. Rich, 49, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2010 Nissan Murano when it left the road and collided into a utility pole. Rich sustained a suspected minor injury and was treated at the scene by Lehighton ambulance personnel. The vehicle had to be towed.
• A two-vehicle crash was reported at 5:14 p.m. on March 3 along Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said Carls A. Lucien, 34, of Whitehall, was attempting to make a right turn onto Robinhood Drive, when a 2009 Hyundai Elantra, driven by Ahleeya B. Paul, 19, of Effort, struck the rear of Lucien’s 2017 Isuzu.
No one was injured. The Hyundai was towed.
• A hit-and-run crash was reported on March 7 at 7:44 p.m. along route 209 in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said a vehicle was driven southbound while James R. Tufano, 63, of Brodheadsville, was stopped waiting to make a left turn into a parking lot. The southbound vehicle struck Tufano’s 2011 Chevrolet Impala as the driver attempted to pass him. The other driver left the scene before troopers arrived without providing information with Tufano. No one was injured.
