KidsPeace announced that Melissa (Missy) Hartney has joined its staff as director of development, with responsibility for overseeing philanthropic fundraising in support of the provider of mental and behavioral health services for children and families.

Hartney has worked in business development, marketing, event management and fundraising for the past 15 years with organizations such as the Allentown Art Museum, the Morning Call and Southside Arts District Downtown Manager for the Bethlehem Economic Development Corporation.

Hartney will manage the organization’s fundraising efforts - including event planning and execution, the annual KidsPeace donor appreciation effort, direct mail campaigns, and management of donor records.
