Northwestern’s Katie Brensinger recently placed second at the 2022 MyHouse Pennsylvania Girls High School State Wrestling Tournament.

Brensinger was the runner-up in the 142-pound weight class, which was won by Bald Eagle Area’s Grace Stem.

Stem, the defending champion, secured the fall in 3:54.

Brensinger was seeded second in her weight class, which featured 25 girls, up from seven a year ago.

About 300 girls from 115 schools across the state competed in the event, which was held at Central Dauphin High School.
