The state police liquor control board enforcement office in Wilkes-Barre reported on the following Monroe County businesses being cited for violations:
• 1836 Saloon Inc., Marshalls Creek, was cited on Jan. 15 for a loudspeaker or similar device that could be heard beyond the licensee’s property line.
• Days Inn of East Stroudsburg was cited for failure to maintain complete and truthful records covering the operation for a period of two years preceding Dec. 29, 2021; and during the periods of July 1, 2020, through July 31, 2021, and Sept. 2 to 12, 2021, permitted other person to operate a business on the licensed premises.
• Pocono Summit Exxon, cited for the period Dec. 30, 2021, through Jan. 30, failed to have their board-approved manager complete RAMP, owner/manager training within 180 days of the board’s approval of the appointment.
Penalties are $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses up to $5,000 for more serious offenses. In addition the judge can order a license suspension or revocation.
