State police at Bethlehem reported on the following incidents:
• On Feb. 20 at 3:45 a.m. troopers stopped a 2017 Hyundai Tucson in the 2900 block of Airport Road in Bethlehem, for an expired registration.
The driver, Saul Asenjo, 29, of Slatington, showed signs of impairment and was taken into custody. He was charged with driving under the influence, with charges filed, troopers said.
Troopers said on March 7 at 6:19 p.m. a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina was stopped at Route 873 and Foxcroft Drive in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. The driver, Darryl Witman, 62, of Slatington, was found to be impaired and arrested for suspicion of DUI.
• On March 8 at 11:04 a.m. troopers were dispatched to the area of Mountain Road, in Washington Township, Lehigh County, for a report of a shooting that caused damages. The incident is currently under investigation.
Troopers identified the victims as a 48-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, both of Slatington. The suspect is a 43-year-old man, also from Slatington.
The police report the rear window of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado truck was damaged.
