Two local high school students were recipients of the Harry J. Wynn III Youth Achievement Award by the Eastern Section of the American Legion, which covers eight districts. They were presented at Lehighton American Legion Post 314. Cecilia Sarnowski was the first-place award winner and got $300 and a certificate, while Zander Bauer got second place, $150 and a certificate. The awards were for scholastic excellence and citizenship.
