– Four Pleasant Valley wrestlers qualify for states at the Northeast 3A Regional wrestling tournament. Steve Mytych, Tim McGoldrick, Ian McGoldrick and Mike Ferrara all punch their ticket to Hershey with top-three finishes. Mytych places second at 103 pounds, reaching the finals with a 1-0 semifinal win before losing 2-0 in the title bout. Ferrara adds a runner-up finish at 145, falling 5-3 in the championship match. Both McGoldrick’s earn third-place medals after losing in the semis and battling back in the consolation round. PV, coached by Dan McIntyre, ends third in the team standings.
