Tamaqua’s Mia Jones finished in sixth place at the District 11 Class 2A diving championships on Saturday at Emmaus High School.

The article on the competition that appeared in Monday’s Times News, said that Jones finished in seventh place. The Tamaqua junior had a final score of 233.85.

The story also had the wrong scores for the three medalists. The corrected scores were gold medalist Alexa Fegley of Moravian Academy with 404.3 points, silver medalist Anna Petke of Bethlehem Catholic with 361.8 points, and bronze medalist Melissa Ellis of Schuylkill Haven with 265.3 points. The totals listed for the divers in the original story were their scores through five dives.
