Lehighton Area School District has announced that kindergarten registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now open.

To preregister your child, visit www.lehighton.org and click on registration at the top of the screen. Then click on 2022-2023 Kindergarten registration to set up a profile for your child. After all information is submitted, you will receive a link to schedule an appointment for your child’s on-site registration and assessment. Assessments will be held March 28 through April 6, from 9-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-2 p.m. and from 4-8 p.m. on March 30.

If you are registering multiple children, you must make separate registration/assessment appointments for each child.

Documents that are required and must be brought to the registration appointment include a state-issued birth certificate or other acceptable proof of age and name for each child, a parent or guardian photo identification, two proofs of residency such as utility bill or driver’s license, proof of immunization and last well visit.

You must also bring your child for vision and hearing screenings, as well as kindergarten assessment testing.
