The Marian boys topped rival Mahanoy Area on Wednesday.

Marian rebounded from a slow start to gain a 47-40 Schuylkill League victory over Mahanoy Area.
Frank Valente and Brendan Lonergan both scored eight points in the second quarter as the Colts, who were held to just two points in the first period, took a five-point halftime lead.
Valente ended with a game-high 16 points, while Lonergan finished with 13. The winners, who improved to 14-7, also received eight points from Logan Fritz.

Minersville-Weatherly
Dante Carr scored 20 points, including five dunks to lead Minersville to a 60-28 victory over Weatherly.
The Wreckers received 18 points from Jacob Tom.
7TH GRADE
Minersville-Weatherly
Weatherly couldn’t hold a lead and dropped a 32-29 decision to Minersville.
Jordan Bowers had a game-high 21 points for the Miners, while Kaiden Weaver topped the Wreckers with 14.
