Additional work is needed on County Bridge 134 on Cedar Street in Tamaqua.

The concrete was damaged more than previously thought necessitating the change commissioners voted for Wednesday.

Previously, 4 inches of concrete was to be removed, but more was needed. The cost is $4,712.50.

Commissioners in December approved $21,100 in improvements from liquid fuels funds to the 89-foot bridge that dates to 1937.
