A Monroe County woman was arrested following a domestic abuse incident Tuesday.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police were dispatched to 9885 Breezeway Terrace in A Pocono County Place, Coolbaugh Township, at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.At that time, they spoke with the victim, who said that on March 24, he and his wife, Kimberly James, 48, of Tobyhanna, had an argument over a cellphone, and during that argument, he was hit in the face with a mug by his wife.Officers observed a laceration on the husband's face, at which time James was arrested at the residence without any further problems.James has been charged with simple assault and harassment.She is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing at 10:30 a.m. April 1 before District Justice Anthony Fluegel.
